How we install protection on curved and waterfall smartphone glass.
First, we measure your screen curvature with calipers to distinguish 2.5D radius displays from aggressive 88-degree waterfall OLED panels. Second, we degrease the glass with optical solvent and neutralize airborne static with electrostatic contact sheets. Third, we seat a phone-specific guide frame that holds the protector centered to within 0.1 millimeter. Fourth, we apply progressive downward squeegee pressure or UV optical curing to set the adhesive boundary.
What we will not do: we do not install flat cheap rigid glass sheets over curved displays. A flat piece of glass over a curved screen leaves a 2-millimeter white halo of dead air all the way around, catching lint and cracking within days. We use only true hot-bent 3D glass or multi-layer optical hydrogel.
